On the 24th, Katy Perry kicked off her brand-new tour, The Lifetimes Tour, promoting her latest studio album, 143. The show, featuring aerial numbers and Katy literally suspended by cables, is already making headlines — whether for the demand (or lack thereof), the grand production, or an unexpected change in one of the songs on the setlist.

During her performance of “E.T.”, Katy surprised fans by rewriting the verse originally sung by Kanye West, who was removed from the track following his many controversies. While many expected her to simply go with the solo version, Katy went even further and delivered brand-new lyrics in place of Ye’s part.

Here’s how it turned out:

I’M IN MY OWN WORLD
I CAN WRITE THE CODE
UPLOAD THIS MAINFRAME
THEN YOU LOSE CONTROL
I WANT YOUR DNA
I’M ONLY SILICONE
BUTTERFLY
BODY
MY MICROCHIP SOUL
INTER DIMENSIONAL
SUPER INVINCIBLE
I’M A SUPERSTAR
A SUPER POWERED INDIVIDUAL
BRING ME BACK TO EARTH
OR END THE SIMULATION
THIS AIN’T A FANTASY
IT’S MY TRANSFORMATION
